April 5-7, 2010

It's been a busy week, so I haven't posted yet, but I have pictures every day so far. If you're like me, you probably thought that once Holy Week was finished things would cool down a bit. Like me, you'd be wrong. This first picture is from April 5:
Center: Happy Easter
Right: Easter Monday
Left: "Something Big" w/countdown at 25
It's a nighttime picture simply because I wasn't at home during the day. This happens frequently when school is in session.

Next up is April 6. I have to admit I didn't find Easter Monday all that surprising. It's a fairly commonly observed holiday, especially in the Catholic church. But I was intrigued by today's offering: Easter Tuesday?! Didn't know it existed. Here's the rundown:
Center: Happy Easter
Right: Easter Tuesday (!)

Finally, April 7. It's another nighttime shot. I suppose I shouldn't be surprised that there's an Easter Wednesday:

April 2-4, 2010

I was out of town for the weekend, so now I'm playing catch up. This is the yard on the morning of April 2. The excitement of Holy Week continues:

Center: Easter w/countdown at 2.
Right: Good Friday
Left: "Something Big Coming" w/countdown at 28.

Since I wasn't in town on Saturday, no picture. In the future, I will get somebody to take pictures for me. You can infer whatever you want based on what was on the yard the day before. I'm going to move on.

I returned home in the evening of Easter Sunday and got a picture before the sun went down. No real surprises:

Center: Happy Easter (no countdown, of course)
Right: Easter Sunday
Left: Something Big Coming w/countdown at 26

I suppose it is unusual to essentially have two sets of decorations out for the same holiday. I mean, the Easter decorations are really one big display, but there's two sets of letters announcing it. That's unusual.

Tomorrow school is back in session, and while I'll always do my best to get good daylight photos, it won't always happen. I'll make do with nighttime ones as necessary.
